Ashley Jones

Ashley Aubra Jones. Born September 3, 1976, Ashley Aubra Jones has been an American actor for more than 20 years. Her most well-known roles include soap opera roles, including Megan Dennison (The Young and the Restless) as well as Bridget Forrester (The Bold and the Beautiful). She also played Daphne in The HBO show True Blood in its second season. Ashley Jones earned a Bachelor of Human Learning, K-8 in 1997 from University of Tennessee at Martin. At the time, in Maury County, she began instructing Kindergarten and First Grade Reading. In 1998, she got married to Brent Jones, her UT Martin sweetheart Brent Jones and relocated into Thompsons Station. At Bethesda Elementary she started teaching the 4th grade. In 1999-2000, she taught while obtaining her Masters of Education from Trevecca Nazarene University. She quit the classroom in 2000, when the couple welcomed their baby boy Baylor. Ashley's last 15-year focus has been on helping children grow in both her church as well as the surrounding community. She also serves as a volunteer in different roles. Ashley has served as director of the Preschool Ministry and also in the Student Ministry since over 13 years. Ashley's children attended homeschool throughout the time she spent at the home. Ashley was also teaching History at the home school tutorial during their years of at-home schooling. God advised her that while she was enjoying homeschooling as well as being in the presence of children, her family needed to return to school full time. Brent and Ashley each have five children. Silas Eliza and Cruz are all at GCA. Baylor is a GCA grad and plays baseball together with UT Martin. Callan is also is a GCA graduate, attends Western Kentucky University. It is a family of busy people who love to hunt, fish and support each other during their favorite sports.
